COMMUNITY LOTTO

There was No jackpot winner this week of winning €3,800. There were no match-three winner’s. The winning numbers were 5, 17, 29 and 32. The next lotto draw will be held on Tuesday, March 10, and the jackpot now stands at €4,000.

CHANGE OF LOTTO DRAW DATE

There will be no lotto drawn held on Tuesday, March 17, due to St Patrick’s Day instead the draw will be held on Monday, March 16, at 8.30 p.m.

SPLIT-THE-POT

Last week’s split-the-pot winner was Paddy Doyle winning €100. Next draw will take place on Thursday, March 12, in Sammy’s. Thank you for your support.

PARENT/TODDLER GROUP

Our Parent and Toddler Group will commence on March 24 at 10 a.m. till 11.30 a.m. upstairs in Rathangan Hall €3 per family all welcome.

MUSIC FESTIVAL TICKETS

The Southeast Country Music Festival will be held on Sunday, July 26, at Killag, Duncormick. Bands featuring include Mike Denver and band, Gerry Guthrie, Olivia Douglas, Lee Mathews, Patrick Feeney supported by the Conquerors. Full Bar and Food service, Dance Floor, free on-site parking provided.

Tickets are now on sale from the following outlets Murphy’s Daybreak, Mace Kilmore quay, Billy Doyle’s footwear Wexford and Enniscorth­y, Rathangan Hall, Fr Kevin Cahill Rathangan, Odlums Shop Baldwinsto­wn and southeast festival committee members. Ticket prices are €25 each. Children under-14 are free accompanie­d by an adult.

SCHOOL ENROLMENT

Enrolment forms for St Anne’s NS Rathangan, September 2020 are now available from the school office please contact Jenny at 051 563167. Please return all forms before Friday, March 6.

GAA REGISTRATI­ON NIGHTS

St Anne’s GAA Club, Ladies’ Football and camogie GAA Clubs will hold another Registrati­on Nights on Thursday, March 19, in the clubhouse from 7 p.m. to 8.30 p.m.

STRICTLY COME DANCING

Saturday, March 14, will be St Anne’s GAA Club’s Strictly Come Dancing semi-final Night this will take place in the Gymnasium in Bridgetown Vocational

College where our 10 Couples will go head to head/toe to toe to qualify for the final, only five Couples go into the final. (Kilmore GAA Club’s semi-final Night is Friday, March 13)

Saturday, April 4, is Strictly Come Dancing Final Night where the five Couples, who qualified on semi-final Nights from each club will go head to head/toe to toe.

Strictly Come Dancing semi-final Tickets will be on sale at the club Shop On Tuesday between 8 p.m. and 8.30 p.m. and at the St Anne’s GAA Club Weekly Bingo on Wednesday Night. There are a limited number of tickets left and are selling fast. €10 per ticket.

So far Our Couples Fundraisin­g Campaigns have been a huge success, thank you to everyone for their support. We still have a number of Couples Fundraiser­s to come and we hope everyone will continue to support these Fundraisin­g Campaigns.

Charlie White and Ciara Doyle’s Strictly Fundraiser will take place on Sunday, March 22, at 5 p.m. upstairs in the clubhouse. More details to follow.

ST ANNE’S ATHLETIC CLUB

The club is celebratin­g 40 years in existence and invite all adult members past and present to join us on May 1 in Rathangan Bar at 8.30 p.m.

GAA CLUB WEEKLY BINGO

No Snowball Winner last week so the €1,000 snowball still stands. There’s an extra number each week so this week it’s up to 48 numbers. Weekly St Anne’s Bingo, starts Wednesdays at 9 p.m. in Rathangan Bar.

KICKSTART PRESCHOOL

Kickstart Eduction and childcare is enrolling for 2020. Contact us to pre-book your place 086 3365018. Kickstart Preschool Kilrane (9 a.m. to midday or 1.20 p.m.). Kickstart Preschool Rathangan (9.15 a.m. to 12.15 p.m.). Free ECCE preschool places as well as subsidised NCS places for children aged two to five years.

COMMUNITY PLAYGROUP

Cleariesto­wn Community Playgroup will be having a Fundraisin­g used clothing collection on Monday, March 30. Due to new regulation­s we can no longer accept bed linen, towels, curtains and soft toys. Please donate all your clean unwanted clothes, shoes, bags, belts. You can drop off any items at the playschool any weekday morning between 9.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. All proceeds from this collection will go directly to help with the running costs of our playroom within the community centre. Thank you for your support.

FOUNDATION CAMOGIE COURSE

There will be a Foundation camogie course in Gusserane GAA Complex Tintern on Saturday, April 4. Places can be booked through Triona Doyle (087 2055889)

SYMPATHY

We extend sympathy to the family and relatives of Patrick (PJ) Jordan Tullycanna, Ballymitty, who died during the week. May he rest in peace.
