KRH Tops Community Group are delighted to confirm our special guests for our annual Variety Concert in Our Lady’s Island Community Centre on Friday, April 3.
They are Clairisi Neamha, a group of harpists along with Una Walsh, who was a finalist in Wexford Has Talent. Tulua, a trad fusion band and also finalists in Wexford Has Talent. Kevin Connolly and the hilarious Ballycogley Players.
All of these wonderful guests, together with our extremely talented senior cast and our wonderful children’s cast. You are promised a fantastic nights entertainment.
GAA CLUB NEWS
The lotto numbers were 1, 7, 20 and 21 on March 3. The jackpot of €11,050 was not won. Three match-three winner Dee Ryan/Izzy Finney/Jimmy and Orla Byrne. Next draw is Tuesday, March 10, in the clubhouse at 8 p.m. and is €11,200. Tickets are €2 and can be bought off all Managers, players, committee and places around the parish.

Our Nursery is at 10 a.m. on Saturdays in the clubhouse till April 4. All four- to six-year-old girls and boys are welcome to come along and have fun.

St Mary’s Caomogie Training times are as follows: under-eights – Return date to be confirmed. Under-10s – Tuesdays at 6.45 p.m. under-12s – Fridays at 6 p.m. under-14s – Return date to be confirmed registration for 2020 is €50 up to under-18s, and €60 for adults. We’re looking forward to another great season. New members always welcome.
ACTIVE RETIREMENT GROUP
The next Ordinary general meeting will be on Tuesday, April 7, in Hotel Rosslare at 3 p.m. A Committee Meeting will take place at 2 p.m.
The annual Holiday for 2020 will be to the Castle Court Hotel, Westport, Co Mayo and a booking has been made for Monday, August 31. Prices will be in the order of €385 per person sharing for five days, four nights. Day trips to Kylemore Abbey, Cong and Achill (subject to weather conditions) are part of the package. There is a singles supplement of €80 total. A deposit of €50 each is required to secure a place. If you are interested please contact Mairead Carr at 053 9133702.
A St Patrick’s Day lunch will take place at the Coast Hotel, Rosslare Strand, on March 17 at 01 p.m. The price is €15 each (non-members €20). Music by Jimmy Hogan. A Coach will leave the Railway Social Club at 12.15 p.m.
Payments for Subscriptions, Holiday or St Patrick’s Day can be made to Jane or Jim in Lilly’s Café between 11 a.m. and midday on Saturdays.
