COMMUNITY SERVICE

Ballyhogue GAA Club have organised a group of over 20 volunteers who are available to assist people with grocery collection, collection of medical prescripti­ons, checking in on isolated or elderly relations or neighbours in the community, help around the house or can be of assistance in any way. The liaison person is Melissa Dawson, 087 9627866 who will be able to put you in contact with one of the volunteers in your locality.

PARISH CHURCH NOTICE

There will be no weekend or weekday Masses in the parish till further notice. The church will however be open all day each day and people are encourage to come and pray for those caught up in the outbreak and also for all those in the health care service and other services who are working so hard to keep the situation stable. Daily Mass is available on TV each day at 10.30 a.m. on RTÉ News Now.

CANCELLED EVENTS

The Galbally Fashion Show is postponed till further notice. Any tickets already sold will still be valid for the rearranged event. The Computer Course due to start in Galbally on Thursday, March 26, has also been postponed.

BREE ACTIVE RETIREMENT

All activities of the Bree Active Retiremnt Group are postponed till further notice.

BALLYHOGUE GAA LOTTO

The numbers drawn in the recent GAA lotto draw were 8, 19, 21 and 27. No jackpot winner but six match-three winners – Tony Ryan, Ciaran Hughes, Shane Dunne, Ena Doyle, Chris Daly, Paul Kehoe. Next draw takes place April 1. Next jackpot is €2,400.

GALBALLY CAR BOOT SALE

The next Galbally car boot sale will take place on Easter Monday, April 13, from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. in Galbally Sports and Leisure Club. Bookings can be made by phoning Dawn at 087 8306206.
