CORONAVIRUS CANCELLATIONS
Due to the Coronavirus all activities have been cancelled so hence very little notes. Please keep safe and keep your distance and wash your hands to try and keep it from spreading.

OUR PARISH
It’s Journal time again and we are looking for graduate photos or if u got married in the last year and if you would like to put your wedding photo in. If u had a baby in the last year and would like to give us the date of birth to be included in the journal or maybe you would have an article you would like included or an old photograph. If u have anything you would like included please contact Anne Farrell at 086 8469131 or Nicola at 087 6859868.
GRANTSTOWN DAY CARE CENTRE
Grantstown day care centre will be closed till further notice. We are still doing meals on wheels so if you want some contact Leslie at 051 561016.
It is important that neighbours make contact with anyone near them that may need assistance during this time.
SAD PASSING
Deepest sympathy to the Fanning family Harriestown on the death of Paddy on Thursday, March 19. Paddy is survived by his wife Anna, son Matthew, his son Pj predeceased him, his mother Ciss and siblings Modgie and Ita and his grandchildren. His funeral Mass took place on Sunday, March 22, at 11 a.m. in St Peter’s church Ballymitty with burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery. Due to the HSE guideline regarding public gatherings it was a private family funeral. May he rest in peace.
GAA CLUB NOTES
Following the announcement by GAA headquarters we can confirm that the club grounds are fully closed for any activity including the walking track.
Signs will be put on the gates today. Please adhere to this and spread the word.
