Seminar on sleep solutions

WITH everyone spending a lot more time at home right now our daily routines have been altered considerab­ly. And for those with young children this presents several challenges, not least the nightly struggle to get them to bed.

To help parents with this issue, Wexford Library is hosting an online seminar entitled ‘Sleep SolutionsH­ealthy Sleep Habits for Babies & Children’ on its Facebook pages and YouTube channel on Thursday, May 14 at 8 p.m. Part of its Parenting Today programme, this talk will be presented by Erica Hargaden from Babogue Sleep Solutions. Erica is a busy, working mother of three and is a qualified Paediatric Sleep Consultant.

She offers services and solutions to parents experienci­ng sleep issues with their children and provides support while they are working through the period of transition. Erica works all over the country with parents of newborns and children of all ages.

Erica will address parents’ queries in a presentati­on which will answer some of the following questions: Why sleep is so important? What happens when we sleep? What constitute­s healthy sleep in babies and children? How to recognise sleep issues. Why sleep issues arise? Practical advice on resolving sleep issues.
