GRANTSTOWN NEWS

To All our clients, residents, guests, friends, staff and volunteers that can not be with us this month to share in our annual event of decorating our May Bush.

We dedicate to you, our lovely May Bush that we have decorated it sparkles in the sunlight and the decorations blow gently in the wind.

Many of the messages and ornaments were made by you last year and they brought back some wonderful memories as Denise and Ellie were reading them out while decorating the tree.

We are missing you all terribly and we are looking forward to the Re-opening of our centre and having you all join us again to celebrate the great friendship and kindness that we feel for each other.

You are in our thoughts and prayers Please stay safe and well. From All your friends at Grantstown.

Grantstown residents are doing really well during these difficult circumstances. To continue to keep them safe and following HSE guidelines we would ask that only authorised personnel enter the avenue for the immediate future. However, if you need urgent access, please do not hesitate to ring Lesley at 051561016 or 087 2134073.

A big thank you to all our volunteers, who are continuing to do Trojan work in supporting all our residents and the vulnerable in the community.

We continue to offer three course meals to all in the community delivered to your door.

OUR PARISH JOURNAL

This year’s Journal is still in the process of gathering articles and photos so you still have time to get them in. We may publish a bit later in the year. If you have any wedding photos over the last year we would love to include it. If you had a baby in the last year and would like to give us the date of birth to be included in the journal.

With so many people at home it’s a good time to write something for the journal so if you have an article you would like included or an old photograph let us know. If you have anything you would like included please contact Anne Farrell at 086 8469131 or Nicola at 087 6859868.

PARISH CLEAN UP

Now we are allowed go 5k and while out on ur walk take a bag with you and collect some of the rubbish it would be nice to have a rubbish free parish. Make sure to wear gloves when rubbish picking.
