Unfortunat­ely due to the COVID 19 we are postponing our Day Trip to Banagher Co Offaly which was due to take place in April this will now be reschedule­d after August 10.

If however, you cannot or decide not to travel on the new date, please call Ann at 087 6677411 to cancel, and as soon as we are open again we will issue you with a refund if you have alrea dy paid. The programme will remain the same for the new date, Tullamore Dew Distillery, Lunch at O’Flynns Banagher followed by a cruise on the Shannon with Silveriine­s Cruise Company. EASTER DRAW

Due to the essential lockdown of almost everyone, the club will postpone their Easter Draw for Hampers till all restrictio­ns are lifted, please continue to sell your lines and we will have our draw at Londis Piercestow­n at a date to be announced most likely in May now. Thank you for your support. Anyone, who still wishes to donate to the hampers can do so after end of June. More details later.

KNOCKINGAL­L ORG COMMUNITY CENTRE.

We were due to have a Line Selling event on April 3/4 at Londis Piercestow­n thanks to generosity of the management for a 100.00 Voucher for Londis, due to the lockdown this will now be postponed to a date to be decided once all restrictio­ns are lifted. Please keep selling the lines, this line selling and draw will go ahead at a later date after July Stage is open. We thank everyone for their support in these trying times Stay safe everyone.

PIERCESTOW­N THRIFT FUND

Piercestow­n Thrift Fund will re-open on Sunday, May 24, in the Knockingal­l Org Community Centre (Piercestow­n Scout and Guide Hall) after 10 a.m. Mass on Sundays. It will be collected in the large meeting room with social distances being observed. Thank you to all the supporters for their patience over past few weeks.
