ENNISCORTHY CREDIT UNION IS SET TO HELP REVIVE WEXFORD

-

WITH local businesses starting to reopen and the first tentative steps being taken to open up the model county for business, Enniscorthy Credit Union have developed a lower interest rate Revive Wexford loan to help our members at this time, encouraging them to shop local and support the businesses in County Wexford.

Enniscorthy Credit Union’s Manager, Liz Cullen explains that Enniscorthy Credit Union want to do as much as we can to help revive our County. “We are keenly aware of the financial impact Covid-19 has had on our members and the businesses in our community. We want to help kick start business and support our members by offering a lower Interest rate loan until the end of 2020. This loan will hopefully help our members access lower Interest credit and support businesses by shopping local.”

“We ensure that if members borrow from us, it is a stressfree loan. The loan is typically approved within 2 days and you can apply online, in person or over the phone. There are never any hidden payments or transaction fees for our loans, nor are there any penalties for repaying the loan early.” Enniscorthy Credit Union’s new Revive Wexford loan is at a lower interest rate of 8% (8.3% APR), and this special lower rate is available to members for any purpose up until the end of 2020 to the maximum of €20,000. The term of this loan can be up to 5 years.”

Liz continued: “Not only that, but we are ethical lenders at Enniscorthy Credit Union. This means that we will never recommend that the member borrows more than they can repay, or that the loan will put them in unnecessary debt. We are notfor-profit so our only motive is to help our member, and not to profit from their needs. So, we would really encourage anyone in our common bond area to come and chat to us if they need a loan.”

“We have done so well as a County throughout this crisis, Wexford people are so proud of our county. We can help Wexford and our community get back in business by shopping local, eating local, and supporting local businesses. Let us revive Wexford, we can do it together!”
