KILRANE/ROSSLARE HBR COMMUNITY WEEKEND

Unfortunately due to the Covid 19 Pandemic and all the necessary restrictions it is proving too difficult to organise this year Community Weekend Summer Festival. We will miss you all and hope we can start planning for next year and brighter times. Stay safe and well!

HISTORY OF ST MARY’S GAA CLUB

A reminder that a book recording the history of St Marys Club Rosslare, is being currently compiled. We are grateful to those of you who have contacted us todate with your contributions. So far we have over 30 contributors, but wed still very much like to hear from anyone who may have information, stories or pictures relevant to the life of the Club from 1886 to modern times.

Feel free to contact either Gerry Byrne on 087 9709887 or Larry Byrne on 086 2537539 anytime. We should particularly like to hear from anyone who has information on the period from 1940 to 1960. Your contribution will be acknowledged.

STAY LOCAL AND SHOP LOCAL

Please remember to support local businesses who have kept us over safe and well over the past very difficult few months. It is now our turn to support them and spend money locally. This is our community and we need to do everything possible to protect jobs and help the local economy to recover.

WEXFORD WALKING TRAILS

WWTs are open across the county and there is no doubt that we will welcome many visitors to our own beautiful coastal walking trails now that the 5km radius has been extended.

All trails have been assessed and signage has been put in place to ensure that the public adhere to social distancing and other recommended protocols in order to protect each and every one of us. It is important that we all stay healthy and enjoy and great outdoors.

The benefits of walking cannot be underestimated in helping us to care for our physical and mental health.
