OUR LADY’S ISLAND

-

COMMUNITY COFFEE SHOP

We are back in action and it is great to be back. We have asked our senior members to stay home/stay safe this year, but they are sorely missed already. We would not like to offend any of our volunteers past or present, but we would like to thank them all for their help and support over the years.

We would also like to thank all our new volunteers who have stepped up to the plate. It is so nice to give a little back to our community and we are so blessed to be living in the most beautiful place on earth. We are open every day from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. till July 13 then we will review again. Looking forward to seeing you all again.

GAA LOTTO

Congratulations to William Kinsella (seller Eoin Kinsella)) on sharing in the match-three prize last week, winning €40. The winning numbers were 8, 13, 24 and 27. Tickets just €1.50 available from the usual outlets. The jackpot stands at €4,600. Your support is very much appreciated.

GAA BINGO

Our Club Bingo is up and running again every Tuesday at 9 p.m. in the community hall. Jackpot stands at €900. Please support our club if you can as we begin to open up again after the long layoff.

ANNUAL PILGRIMAGE

Decisions regarding the Pilgrimage to Our Lady’s Island this year will not be made until late July. The situation regarding Corona virus still remains fluid and unpredictable. By that time we hope to be in a better position to see what is best in terms of pastoral care and out of concern for the safety and welfare of all, locals, volunteers and visitors alike. The various committees directly involved will be consulted in order to make a decision based on consensus of opinion.
