Two members of our parish Syl Farrell and Brendan Wright celebrated special birthdays during the recent past and they are sent best wishes from their families and friends. Happy birthday to you both.

LOTTO

The St Fintan’s lotto in associatio­n with Rathangan hall committee remains cancelled due to the covid 19 pandemic and will remain so till it is safe to resume. Apologies for any inconvenie­nce caused and we will give plenty of notice of the planned date of its resumption.

BEREAVEMEN­T

Deepest sympathy is extended to the family and friends of James Anglim, Ballyregan, Killinick, who sadly died in the recent past. May he rest in peace.

SAD PASSING OF ROSE BESEMER IN GERMANY

Jurgen, Deirdre and Fai Besemer would like to express their sadness at the recent death of Jurgen’s mother, Rose Besemer, in Germany. Unfortunat­ely due to the virus, it was not possible for them to travel for her funeral.

Rose enjoyed many holidays in peaceful Killinick. Rose was a gentle, simple woman who lived for her family. May she rest in peace.
