WEXFORD Volunteer Centre are to provide “an exciting opportunity for community members to come together and make a difference” as they host their 2024 Community and Volunteer Expo.

The event will take place on Monday, May 13, at The Riverside Park Hotel in Enniscorthy from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. and aims to connect volunteers with organisations and causes that they are passionate about.

Would-be volunteers or existing volunteers looking to take on a new challenge will have every opportunity as there will be all manner of stalls and stands providing information on the day.

“We are thrilled to provide a platform for individuals to connect with organisations that align with their values and interests,” said Eva Law, Centre Manager at Wexford Volunteer Centre. “Volunteering is not only a way to give back to the community, but it’s also a rewarding experience that can have a positive impact on both the volunteer and the organisations they support.”

In addition to connecting volunteers with organizations, the expo will also offer networking opportunities and skill-building workshops. Attendees will have the chance to learn from experts in the field and gain valuable insights into the importance of volunteerism.
