Finn in flying form as Kiltegan seal victory

- SFL DIVISION 1A

glad of the half-time break. They had hit the post on two occasions in the first half with goal chances and were probably thinking it was going to be one of those days.

Whatever was said at half time changed the whole dynamic of the game with Avondale dropping off their game alarmingly and Kiltegan born again.

Avondale were to score only twice more in the second 30 with a Conor McGraynor free added to by Conor Byrnes sweet left footed point all they would have to show for their efforts. Kiltegan certainly enjoyed a lot more possession as Finn took control and Mikie Foley also excelled.

The introduction of PJ Daly caused problems for Avondale and Seanie Furlong found the range five times as they clawed their way back and went ahead with six minutes to play when Geoffrey Bermingham pointed. Avondale had no answers but had a goal attempt blocked late on before Seanie Furlong sealed a very good win in injury time.
