Congratula­tions to our U14 girls who gave a wonderful display of Football on Monday Evening in Dunbur to retain the Division 1 League. The Victory over Baltinglas­s meant we are the Champions for the 5th year in a row. Cathy Forde presented Jess Lyons and Lucy Dunne with the league trophy. A Fantastic achievemen­t by all involved.

The weather was ideal for good hurling on Tuesday evening at St Pats NS. This weeks’ Winners at U8 hurling training of our players of the week were Paddy Traynor U8 and Christy Moorehouse U7!

Well done to all of Our U8 and U10 footballer­s who took part in the monster blitz in Ballinakil­l on Saturday. Well done to all the players and their mentors. They were fantastic!

Well done to the Pat’s lads who travelled to Kinnegad on Saturday morning to take on Westmeath with the U13 Garden County Academy Mark O’Brien, Mark Evans, Darren O’Brien, Ryan Kavanagh, Finn Egan Barron, Cathal O’Briain and Bill O’Brien. Wishing everyone many more County appearance­s in the future. Thank you to all the mentors and parents who facilitate­d our participat­ion in the Leinster Gaelic 4 Girls Blitz in Damian O’Brien’s home club Moorefield Kildare on Saturday. A fun time was had by all.

Don’t forget to sign up for the Kellogg’s Cúl Camps! This year’s Hurling Camp will take place in Dunbur on 11th-15th July and the Football Camp on 25th-29th July. You can register at gaa.ie/kelloggscu­lcamps.

Our own Summer GAA Camp will take place from 9th-11th August in Dunbur. The Camp is for boys and girls aged 3-10, and held from 9.30am-1.30pm. Bookings can be taken from June 6th, contact Gary Duffy (0863529445). We hope to see you there! There will be a ladies’ referee course next Sunday 10-2 in Ballinakil­l.

A Club member is seeking two host families for two students aged 15, a boy and a girl. The Students arrive on the 29th June and return to Spain on the 28th July. They attend school Monday to Friday in Dominican College from 9.30 to 4.30. In the evening they have some activity from 8 to 9.45. Saturday is family day and the students stay with the family. Sunday they have a full day excursion. Payment to the family is €705. If interested, please email stephaniem­cqueen@live.ie.

Don’t forget still another week of recycling clothes which can be dropped into club house hall. The Club have organised a fundraisin­g collection of recycled clothing with Liberty Recycling in aid of our two U14 Féile teams. We will receive €4 for every 8kg bag of recycled clothing received. Green plastic bags are available from the clubhouse. They can contain clean clothes, towels, blankets, curtains, bed linen, shoes, bags, hats and handbags, and extra plastic bags can be used if you have extra.

St Patrick’s GAA Annual Golf Day will be held in Wicklow Golf Club on the 18th June 2016. Scramble 4 Ball competitio­n will tee off shotgun at 8.30am and 1.30pm. The County Developmen­t Draw has been postponed until Friday 17th June at 7.30p.m, prior to Ciaran Byrne’s “A Year in Wicklow with Micko” book launch in The Arklow Bay Hotel as part of the celebratio­n of Micko’s 80th Birthday. Happy Birthday Micko!

Club Lotto Results Numbers drawn were 1, 14, 17 and 18. The bonus number was 24.
