Entrepreneurs representing Brayinawards

-

TWO LOCAL businesses represented Bray recently at the Dublin Regional stage of the ILDN National Enterprise Awards, with Sky Drones Ireland earning a Special Merit Award.

The ILDN National Enterprise awards were set up this year to showcase the achievements of the many people across the country who have set up their business with the support of the Back to Work Enterprise Allowance and Short Term Enterprise Allowance schemes, facilitated by local partnership companies.

Bray Area Partnership selected two successful local businesses from a number of applicants who had all set up their businesses with mentoring and support from the Partnership while on one of the schemes.

The businesses chosen to represent Bray at the awards were Padraic Donnelly of Product Supply and Management and Ian Kiely of Sky Drones Ireland.

The pair competed against 16 other entrants put forward by eight other Dublin region partnership companies – the two Dublin regional winners will now go on to compete for the national awards in September.

Product Supply and Management provides consultancy and training to service station owners and the oil and retail sectors and has set up a trade association - Fuel Distributors Association of Ireland – to represent Irish oil distributors.

The other aspect of their business is letsshop. ie, which provides a simple eCommerce platform for local retailers to get online quickly and sell their goods. Padraic can be contacted at padraic. donnelly@gmail.com.

Sky Drones Ireland is one of the leading providers of consultancy services and sales of drones in Ireland, supplying cutting edge technologies over a wide range of applications.

They also host the largest annual drone event in Ireland - the next event will be in March 2017 at the RDS.

Ian can be contacted at ian@skydronesireland.ie.

If you’re unemployed and thinking of setting up your own business, contact the Partnership’s enterprise service at 01 2050111 for free one-toone mentoring, support and training.

The ILDN is a network of all Local Development Companies in Ireland.

The ILDN National Enterprise Awards Dublin Regional Awards took place on June 30 in Wood Quay.

The Dublin Region winners will go on to represent Dublin in the National Enterprise Awards in September.
