CARNEW EMMETS

-

Under 12 Hurling Division 1 - Michael Dwyers 4-11, Carnew 1-4: Carnew were well beaten by a very strong, skilful Michael Dwyers outfit when they met on home turf on Monday 11th July. Two soft goals were leaked by the Carnew lads which put them on the back foot early in the first half. Carnew battled hard but just were not able to get some scores from play on the scoreboard. The boys will be disappointed with their performance in this game because they did not reach their usual standard of hurling.

Carnew meet Bray Emmets in the next round and we are looking forward to a strong attendance at training and a big effort by all to get back on the winning trail. There are just five games left before we reach the final so to emulate our success in last year’s competition we really need a big push forward by all to bring home the silverware again to Carnew.

Training Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 7pm and all are welcome.
