VARTRY GARAGE IN WICKLOW JOINS NETWORK OF PEUGEOT DEALERS

-

THE owners of Vartry Garage in Wicklow have signed on the dotted line to become Peugoet dealers.

The announcement was made last week by Gowan Distributors Limited, Peugeot Importers in Ireland.

Vartry Garage was first established 50 years ago in 1966 in Wicklow, before Mick Humby Snr and his son, Mick Humby Jnr, relocated the business to the current site at Blainroe in 1998.

Significant investment was made in a new showroom in 2011. The already extensive facilities are currently being extended with plans for a new Peugeot showroom to exhibit the full range of award-winning cars and light commercial vehicles.

The workshop is staffed by highly qualified technicians who offer servicing for all makes and models for both passenger cars and light commercial vehicles.

Mick Humby said that he was ‘very pleased’ to be joining the Peugeot Dealer Network and is looking forward to working with the team at Gowan Distributors Ltd.

‘The success of Vartry Garage to date is down to our team of highly experienced and committed staff who are totally dedicated to giving the best customer care possible, both in sales, parts and aftersales,’ Mr Humby added.

Des Cannon, MD of Gowan Distributors Ltd, said the company has deep-rooted ties with family-run dealerships.

‘Our latest appointment, Vartry Garage, is a fine example of one such dealer, long-recognised for providing superior sales and service to the Wicklow community with integrity, reliability and the utmost professionalism.

‘I wish Michael and his team every success for the future as Main Peugeot Dealers,’ Mr Cannon added.
