Emlyn and Paddy take the helm at Madeline’s Restaurant

MADELINE’S Restaurant, Tinahely has recently been opened by new proprietor­s Emlyn Sheehan and Paddy Fay.

Open five days a week, the eatery, situated at O’Dwyer Square is in the heart of Tinahely village serving delicious freshly cooked food to suit all tastes and served in welcome and comfortabl­e surroundin­gs.

The carefully constructe­d menu is bursting with the best of local and Irish produce.

Emlyn and Paddy delighted to be at the helm of Madeline’s, having planned to open a local restaurant for some time.

Earlier this year, when the premises became available, they took the plunge, and so far the feedback from customers has been excellent.

Both Emlyn and Paddy come from a background working in four and five star hotels in Ireland and the UK and bring with them a wealth of experience and determinat­ion. They are dedicated to ensuring customer satisfacti­on. ‘ The menus have been designed to cater for local tastes and have, so far been well received but we are aware of the old saying that you are only as good as your last meal so each and every plate needs care,’ says Paddy.

Madeline’s is open on Wednesday for lunch from 12 – 3 p.m., Thursday to Saturday for lunch from 12 – 3 p.m. and dinner from 6 – 9 p.m. and Sunday for lunch from 12 – 4 p.m. and dinner from 6 – 8 p.m.

The restaurant also caters for small functions and Christmas parties.
