Can everyone please come out and support our teams as they progress in the championsh­ips. The club is doing really well at all levels.

Seniors – Blessingto­n Seniors beat Avondale in the Renault Championsh­ip quarter-final on Saturday in Aughrim on a score line of 2-17 to 0-08. The semi-finals will be played in two weeks’ time and the lineup is: Blessingto­n v St Patrick’s; Bray Emmets v Baltinglas­s.

Minors - Our Minors drew with St Nicks in Donard on Wednesday in a very exciting game. Final score: Blesso 2-10, St Nicks 3-07.

Physio - The club physio will be in the clubhouse on Tues at 7pm. Players training on the night will be given priority.

Junior Ladies: - Training Thursday 7pm to 8.30pm with U16s unless U16 league game is played on the same day. Final few training sessions before Minor football commences.

G4M &O - Training Wed 7.15 to 8pm. The ladies played a challenge match away to Raheens on Wednesday and played a fantastic game and good skill by all with everybody changing positions each quarter. Raheens gave the ladies a very big welcome with a big spread of food after.

U14s - Congrats to the U14 girls who beat Arklow to win their place in the championsh­ip ‘A’ final in Ballinakil­l on October 2. Final score: 6-10 to 2-02. The girls also won the Division 2 league and the trophy was presented to captain Ellie McKeever. Well done girls. Photos on our Facebook page.

Annual Mini All Ireland Tournament commenced on Sunday. There are four teams in U8, U10 and U12 teams. Glad to report that nobody got blown away up at the pitch!

Great start to our Mini All Ireland’s. Very well done to all players and managers. A brilliant display of football despite the strong wind. Thanks a mill to everyone playing, supporting and helping in any way. Semi Finals on Wednesday at 6pm (Teams to meet at 5.30pm.) U12: Mayo v Tyrone. Kildare v Laois. U10: Cork v Meath. U16s – Our U16s are away v Avondale in the third round of the championsh­ip on Mon 12 Sep 7.30pm.

U14s – Our lads had a good win away against Carnew Emmets on Saturday. It was a tough championsh­ip match. Everyone put in a great performanc­e. Up next is An Tochar on Sunday, September 18. Time TBC.

U11/U12s - Mon training 6.30pm to 8pm. No training on Wednesday due to Mini All-Ireland. U11s played away to Clane on Thursday, September 1, in the NKL and had a well-deserved win by four points, 36 to 32. Big thank you to the U10s that travelled to make up the numbers. Two wins on the trot. Well done to all.

U12s (playing in first division of the NKL) were at home to Celbridge 1 on Saturday and had a very competitiv­e game losing by a single point 3-5 to 4-3 This was a hard fought game with no side giving way. Great performanc­e from all the lads and the game could have gone either way. Next Games: Saturday, September 17 - U12 Wicklow League Final, Ballinakil­l, Time TBC. Saturday, September 17 - U11s are due to play Leixlip at home at 4.30pm. (May be cancelled due to Wicklow final.)

U7s – NKL away v Kill on Saturday 17 at 2.30pm.

Lotto - No winner of lotto draw on Tuesday, September 6. Numbers drawn were 3, 10, 19, and 28. Four matched three numbers. Helen Hennessy, Ann Moran, Amy and Shane Taggart and Tony Kenny.
