WELCOME back to the start of another school year. Let’s hope it’s a happy, healthy and successful one. North East Fixtures List 2016-2017 Term One – Focus on participation and no competition
Boys’ Allianz Hurling League - First on the list of Cumann na mBunscol activities is the Boys’ Allianz Hurling League, which will be played over two days. The focus of both days is on participation and giving as many children as possible the experience of playing hurling, regardless of experience. There is no age limit on the children who are participating. Games will be nine-a-side.
Day 1 – Wednesday, September 14 from 11.45am to 1.30pm (approx) at Bray Emmets GAA Club.
Day 2 – Wednesday, September 28 from 11.45am to 1.30pm (approx) at Bray Emmets GAA Club. Please respond by email to confirm attendance or text Ronan Keddy at 086 3021594.
Allianz Camogie League Day - September 21 at 11.45 a.m. in Bray GAA grounds. Nine-a-side and no age limit. Possible Young Whistlers course to be added in October/November.
Wicklow Times Participation Day (third and fourth class girls football) – October 5 at 11.45 a.m. in Bray GAA grounds – Girls’ football blitz, nine-a-side and no age limit, points only.
AGM – October 6, Parkview Hotel, Newtownmountkennedy at 5.00 p.m.
Allianz third and fourth class boys football participation day – October 12 and 13 at 11.45 a.m. in Bray GAA grounds – Boys’ football blitz, nine-a-side and no age limit. Your school will be contacted regarding which day you will be attending.
Wicklow Times Participation Day (fifth and sixth class girls football) – October 19 at 11.45 a.m. in Bray GAA grounds – Girls’ football blitz, nine-a-side and no age limit, points only.
Allianz fifth and sixth class boys football participation day - October 26 and 27 at 11.45 a.m. in Bray GAA grounds – Boys’ football blitz, nine-a-side and no age limit (Your school will be contacted regarding which day you will be attending).
Indoor Hurling/Camogie third and fourth class - Week of November 14 in regional centres. Your school will be contacted regarding which day you will be attending.
Allianz Tráth na gCeist – Thursday, November 17, at 7.30 p.m. in Lynham’s, Laragh.
Indoor Hurling/Camogie third and fourth class - Week of November 21 in regional centres. Your school will be contacted regarding which day you will be attending.
