-

Under-13s result: Coolboy Rangers 5, St Anthony’s 1 - The under-13s recorded an emphatic 5-1 victory at home against St Anthony’s of Bray.

Callum Patterson and Wiktor Kosinski withtwo each and Owen Hedderman grabbed the headlines with goals. It was a really great battling display from the whole team with every single player in great form .

Under-14s result: Arklow Celtic 1, Coolboy Rangers 6 - The under-14s recorded a good away win against an unknown quantity in Arklow Celtic. The first quarter of the game was a cagey affair, however Oisin Gorman settled nerves with his first goal of the game and Coolboy started to dominate.

Coolboy added to the lead with a good move starting with Conor Clinton advancing into the box to slot home.

Finnian Collins then got his own rewards with a well taken shot, a well deserved goal after putting in an excellent display. The fourth came from a good cross into the box where Oisin had got himself to the correct position to head into the net. Oisin then added his third latching onto a ball passed through from the middle which he was able to run onto and score. He then added a sixth before Arklow managed to get a consolation goal. Again a great team performance with all 16 contributing to the game.

Under-12s result: Coolboy 2, St Patricks 0 - A great team performance by Coolboy again. After the first 10 minutes the game settled in Coolboys favour and a great through ball by Jamie Schoeb saw Marcus Norris on a 1v1 with the keeper and was taken down.

The resulting penalty was dispatched by Jamie Schoeb. The rest of the first half was a solid defence from both sides.

In the second half Coolboy had a good grip on the match with outstanding defending, and classic counter attacking football. A through ball by Jamie Purcell was well finished by Ryan Conroy.

The 2-0 win was well deserved and with continued hard work the future looks bright for these lads.

Under-15s: Coolboy Rangers 1, Wicklow Rovers 1 - Following last week’s goal fest, the under-15s were brought down to earth and had to make do with a draw against Wicklow Rovers, a solid battling performance yielded just the one goal scored by Matthew Ging.
