Seniors –Hard luck to the Senior team who were beaten by St Patrick’s in the Renault Senior Championsh­ip semi-final in Aughrim on Sunday on a score line of 0-7 to 2-8. That’s it for the 2016 campaign. Well done to the team and management for reaching the semis. Baltinglas­s now face St Pat’s in the final on October 8.

Physio - The club physio will be in the clubhouse on Tuesday at 7pm. Players training on the night will be given priority.

Workshop - Coaching workshop with John Evans in Ballinakil­l on Friday, September 30, at 7.30pm. €10 per coach. The club will reimburse coaches who attend. Text Paul Garrigan on 083 4366801.

Senior Ladies – Well done to the ladies who had a great win by one point to win the ‘B’ football championsh­ip final against Bray in Roundwood on Wednesday.

The ladies also took part in the Senior All-Ireland football 7s in Kilmacud Crokes on Saturday last.

Ladies v. St Pat’s at home on Sunday, October 2 at 11am.

Junior Ladies - Training on Thursday from 6.45 to 8.15pm. Final few training sessions before Minor football commences.

October 1 - Blessingto­n hosting a blitz v. a number of teams from Kildare and Dublin (Roundtower­s, Eireann go Bragh and Broadmills). Kick off 11.30am.

Under-16s - Our under-16 team had a fantastic win over Valleymoun­t on September 20 on a score line of 7-09 to 3-11 and in doing so won the league. What a great few days for the girls. Well done to the team and management of Dom, Lorcan and Kevin.

Under-14s – The girls will be playing in the final v. Tinahely in Ballinakil­l on Sunday, October 2, at 1pm. Good luck girls and management.

Under-11s – NKL under-11s away v Rheban at 11am on Saturday, October 1.

Juvenile – Under-16s – On Friday they face Avondale at home. This is a play-off situation as Blessingto­n, Bray and Avondale are on the same points.

Under-10s - Blessingto­n under-10s got back to winning ways in Kildare league today in tough match against Carbury under-10s.

Hurling – Hard luck to Western Gaels playing in the under-12s ‘A’ Wicklow league final in Ballinakil on Saturday, September 24, who were beaten by Glenealy in the last minute of the game. Well done to this great bunch of lads and management.

Under-7s - Our under-7 hurlers travelled to Athy on Sunday, September 25, in a blaze of sunshine. A fine game ensued with tight scores all the way through. Superb performanc­es from Brandon Ryan and Callum Jordan Dempsey made Athy work hard.

We had a super sub in Jack Doyle aged four who took the knocks and kept going till the end to deservedly get man of the match cheered on by both sides. One to watch out for in the future.

Training on Thursday has come to an end but watch this space and Facebook for upcoming events.

Lotto - No winner of lotto draw on Tuesday, September 20. Numbers drawn were: 4, 10, 11, and 19.
