Halloween at the Mermaid
After moving to a small town, Zach Cooper finds a silver lining when he meets next door neighbour Hannah, the daughter of bestselling Goosebumps series author R.L. Stine. Stine (Jack Black) is very mysterious and a prisoner of his own imagination - the monsters that his books made famous are real, and he protects his readers by keeping them locked up in their manuscripts. When the monsters are accidentally unleashed and begin to terrorize the town, it’s up to Stine, Zach and Hannah to get them back in their books where they belong.

A special Halloween themed Brick Flicks (Lego stop motion) workshop. You will learn how to make a spooky set, create a zombie invasion and then have your favourite Lego character save the day! As always the workshops are focused on a combination of simple demonstration with plenty of hands on learning. Movies will be shared through Dropbox and Youtube! Materials are supplied though participants are encouraged to bring along their own favourite Lego characters and a few zombies. Suitable for 8 – 12 year olds.
