LEINSTER CHAMPIONSHIP - Hard luck to Knockananna who played in the semi-final of the Leinster Club Championship. They bowed out on Sunday with a 2-18 to 1-02 defeat at the hands Johnstownbridge, Co Kildare. Well done to the mentors for their expertise and to the players for playing their hearts out on the day.

Under-8 and Under--10 Go Games Blitz - Twenty one teams from 11 clubs descended on the GAA Centre of Excellence in Ballinakill in fantastic conditions on Sunday morning for the last under-8 and under-10- Go Games Blitz of the season. Over 250 enthusiastic and noisy girls pucked, blocked, clashed, scored, chased, attacked, defended, fell over, got up and did more of the same! This was an impressive and colourful gathering of Wicklow’s Camogie future!

Well done to all parents/coaches/club officials involved with these girls all year. The Go Games is a programme of small-sided non-competitive Camogie where girls are encouraged to experience ALL positions on the field and make as many mistakes as they like while learning the skills of our wonderful game.
