It has been a very difficult decision to choose one winner. The winner of the Best Dressed Classroom County Final 2016 is: Ms. Murphy’s 1st Class - St. Patrick’s N.S. Wicklow Town To our supporters everywhere Thank you all Our under-14s took on Eire Og in the ‘A’ championship in Ballinakill on Thursday night. We always knew this was going to be a tough game.

Under the skilful eye of Paul Fox, Barry Cahill, Padge McWalter and Patrice Evans, The lads opened the scoring after the first minutes with a rocket of a goal from full forward Jamie Noble.

Ever cool Dylan Kavanagh then fired home a second. Eire Og replied with a goal and some points to leave the Pats lads trailing by two points at half-time.

A good strong team talk from management saw Pats come back stronger and fighting for every ball. The work rate from these lads was immense.

Each player stepped up to the mark and came out worthy winners by a single Mark O’Brien point. Victory in the end, the passion and skill which was on display was just amazing. Well done lads you did your club, coaches and yourselves proud. Final score: St Patrick’s 3-04, Eiré Óg Greystones 1-09.

We now await the outcome of a three-way play off between St Nicholas/Baltinglass and Eire Og to see who we meet in under-14 ‘A’ football Harry Leonard Memorial Shield semi-final.

Well done to St Patrick’s under-8s who took part in Go Games Monster Blitz in Ballinakill on Saturday with their fab new tops.
