Sean to release new album

A brand new album will be released this weekend by Wicklow musician Sean Olohan.

Titled Diamond- Country the CD features Sean performing a collection of songs by Neil Diamond as well as a number of popular country hits.

Sean has been working on this production for a long time with his friend and producer Mike Neale at his Full Moon Studio.

He has been singing Neil Diamond songs all his life with his bands and a big admirer of the American singer and has included songs like the slow ballads ‘I Am I Said’ and ‘Play Me’ to the very up-tempo ‘Sweet Caroline’ and ‘Beautiful Noise’.

On the country side there is even a bigger selection as the country music scene is extremely popular right now. The CD features a range of hits from slow country ballads like ‘You Win Again’ and ‘Amazing Grace’ to ‘ The Gambler’ and ‘Some Days You Gotta Dance’.

Sean has included two of his own compositions on the album. These are his summer hit for the RNLI ‘Ireland Round We Go’ and a newly written rock ‘n’ roll song called ‘Boogie In The Woogie’.

There are 22 exciting tracks on this limited edition album which is available from Track One Music Store in Wicklow Town.

All funds raised will be distributed to all local charities through Wicklow and District Lions Club to coincide with the clubs 30th birthday this year.
