Super Saturday as Bray Hockey Club defeat all

- BRAY HOCKEY

WHAT an incredible Saturday for Bray Hockey Club with wins all round for all of their squads.

The ladies 2s headed to Pembroke and had to take home three points in order to climb back up to second in Division 5.

Within 10 minutes Aoife Kenna has started them off, then Amy Armstrong ensured they didn’t take their foot off the gas by scoring a hat-trick!

The ladies 3s were at home to Naas and ended in similar fashion as the 2s with their 4-0 score line. Claire Prendergast kicked off their match with Caoimhe Guilfoyle slotting two past the keeper.

Unfortunately for Naas their keeper has to dash off with 10 minutes to go, and Claire took full advantage of their kicking back and slotted home the fourth.

The ladies 4s took on UCD in their Cup campaign and had their second win of the season with a 5-3 score line! The goals from Rhona Baker, Rebecca Wall, Ruth McDonagh, Mia Hallili, and Deirdre Keogh.

A brilliant game and fantastic for the Ladies who now advance to the next round of the cup!

The men’s first team welcomed Wicklow to Templecarrig School in the next round of their Irish Hockey Challenge campaign.

The score finished 5-0 with goals from all of the Brennan brothers, Seán (2), Cian and Adam, and Jamie Crawford lobbing one home. A fantastic start for the lads in defending their title from last season.
