CHRISTMAS MARKET Russboroug­h House Noon to 4.30 p.m. The beautiful surrounds of Russboroug­h will be filled with beautiful artisan products at this festive market. SANTA’S GROTTO Bridgewate­r Shopping Centre Noon to 5 p.m. Visits are free. SANTA AT THE BAY Arklow Bay Hotel 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Admission: €7.50 per child. FESTIVE AFTERNOON TEA Polo Wicklow Clubhouse, Kilpoole 1 p.m. Polo Wicklow is hosting a festive afternoon tea to coincide with the Christmas tournament final, which takes place at 2 p.m. Tickets: €15 (available by emailing Siobhan@polowicklo­w.com or calling 0404 67164). MULLED WINE AND MINCE PIES Lakers’ Brady Centre 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Join Lakers from some mulled wines, mince pies, live Christmas music, a cake sale and lots of festive fun. Admission: €5. BOATYARD CHRISTMAS MARKET The Boatyard, Greystones 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. The boatyard Christmas market will have lots of stalls filled with festive treats and gifts, live music, Santa and more. TRIPLE MOVIE SCREENING The Harbour Bar, Bray 2 p.m. Bray Cult Film Club present a charity triple screening in aid of Bray Women’s Refuge – The Snowman, A Muppet Christmas Carol, and Home Alone. LIVE NATIVITY Hollywood Village 3 p.m. The Live Nativity is always special day in the village. The event will feature Christmas carols and music. PARISH CAROL SERVICE Ss Mary and Peter’s Church, Arklow 4 p.m. This annual Christmas carol service takes place at the parish church. Come along and join in this wonderful Arklow tradition. CHRISTMAS CAROL CONCERT Holy Redeemer Church, Bray 4 p.m. Join a number of local musical groups and sing along to some of your favourite carols a the Holy Redeemer. THE NUTCRACKER Russboroug­h House 4.30 p.m. Tickets: €20 adult, €15 child and €50 family (two adults and two children). CHRISTMAS CAROL SERVICE Donard Church The annual Christmas Carol Service in Donard Church is always a wonderful event for the whole community, featuring a broad range of favourite songs. CLASSICAL CHRISTMAS St Mary’s Church, Enniskerry 7 p.m. This will be a wonderful evening of seasonal favourites with tenor Ross Scanlon, accompanie­d by Charles Pearson and featuring a concert choir, directed by Gloria Smith. Tickets cost €20 (available by calling 01 2760030 between 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., from choir members or from Parting Glass or Enniskerry Village Stores). GARDA BAND CONCERT ChurchofSt­LaurenceO’Toole, Roundwood 7.30 p.m. The choirs of St Laurence O’Toole NS, Roundwood, and Moneystown NS will join with the Band of An Garda Siochana and perform a concert in aid of the St Vincent De Paul.
