Captains’ Drive In, New Years Day 2017 - Despite poor weather conditions, a large crowd turned out for the traditional Captains’ Drive-in at Wicklow Golf Club on New Year’s Day to welcome in our new captain, Tony Michaels, lady captain, Una Doyle, President, Billy Alexander and Lady President, Phil Long.

The formal proceedings were concluded by the presentation of blazers to the new officers in front of a thronged clubhouse.

Large numbers then sat down to dinner and enjoyed a fantastic evening in the clubhouse with the celebrations continuing long into the night.

Wicklow Golf Club would like to wish all the incoming officers of the club a very successful and enjoyable 2017.

In addition, the clubhouse which has the most marvelous views over the Irish Sea can be booked for private functions such as birthdays, christenings, communions, etc.
