Juniors preparing for Louth challenge
THE Wicklow Junior panel played a challenge match against Laois intermediates on Saturday night in Hollywood. This is in preparation for the Leinster championship with the first outing away against Louth on May 13.
Club - At club level, the U-12 season kicked off with the commencement of the Go Games Blitz Programme. Last Friday night, three blitzes were held in Arklow Rock Parnells, Knockananna, and Kilcoole. The U-14s were on a break after their Feile qualifiers, and the U-16 and Adult Leagues progressed another round.
Meanwhile, Carnew Emmets had the honour of representing Wicklow at the U-12 Camogie Association Caman to Croker blitz on Easter Monday. They played Fingallians (Dublin), St Cillians (Offaly), and Setanta (Carlow). Fixtures April 26 - U-16 League: Aughrim/Ballinacor v Kilcoole/ Eire Og Greystones, Knockananna v Kiltegan, Donard-Glen v Bray Emmets, Avondale v Carnew Emmets. Adult League: Bray Emmets v Glenealy.

April 30 - Adult Leagues: Division 1 Ballinacor v Knockananna, Kilcoole v Carnew Emmets, Donard-Glen v Bray Emmets, Avondale v Glenealy. Division 2 Annacurra v Aughrim, Eire Og v Arklow Rock Parnells, Ballinacor v Kiltegan.
