Joan Gartland Ballyrahan R.I.P passed to her eternal reward last week , to Noel and to Joan”s extended family and friends all connected with Shillelagh G.A.A club extend their deepest sympathy.
Sincere sympathy is also extended to the Doran family, Tomacork, on the sad passing of Mary, R.I.P. To Mary’s husband Pat and family and to the extended Doran family and friends we extend our condolences.
The combination drawn in the club lotto draw on Tuesday, May 2, was 11, 20, 24, and 27. There was no jackpot winners.

Willie Kavanagh handed in his gun and badge and rode off into the sunset of retirement recently after a lifetime of service and dedication to A.P.L in Tinahely.
Willie wore the Shillelagh geansai with pride and distinction for countless years he also served in various roles at committee level. From all connected with the club, Kav, to yourself, Ann, Rory, and Craig, a happy and healthy retirement.

The junior football team due to a lengthy injury list and circumstances outside our control travelled very much understrength to take on league leaders Valleymount on Sunday, April 30.
We failed to harvest league points but the positive to take from the the game is that we did travel and were competitive.
Eire Og Greystones are the visitors to the Fairgreen on this Saturday, May 13, in Division 3 of the football league. Throw in time is at 5.30pm and hopefully the team can get back to winning ways.
JUVENILE NEWS - Congratulations to our juvenile members and to all the young pupils of Scoil Mhuire Na N-Aird who made their First Holy Communion on Saturday last, a fantastic occasion made possible by children, parents, teachers, Fr. Hayden and Thelma well done all concerned.
The Under-13 St Mary”s football team had to give best to a strong Aughrim outfit in their recent league game.
Our Under-11 football team are scheduled to travel to take on Fergal Og on this Wednesday, May 10, this game is subject to confirmation.
