BRAY BOWLS

Our Division 4 team lost their unbeaten record last Monday when they went down at home to Greenhills.

On Wednesday the Ladies Division 1 team went down to Dun Laoghaire in a very close game.

Also on Wednesday, Division 6 had a great win at home to Shankill where Gabriel Cahill had a great game in skipping his rink to victory. Thursday saw the 3 Vets teams in action at home to Dun Laoghaire, Herbert Park and Shankill.

Vets 2 were the only one of the teams to win with a 4/1 victory against Herbert Park. Thanks to Michael Dunne who made the gourmet sandwiches for 48 hungry bowlers. It was really appreciated by all. Saturday saw Division 1 defeating Meath by 6 points to 1 and Division 2 getting their campaign up and running by taking five points home from near neighbours Shankill.

This week Division 4 have a bye whilst on Wednesday the Ladies are away in Terenure against CYM and Division 6 are away in Crumlin. Thursday sees Vets 1 have a bye, Vets 2 are away in Dun Laoghaire and Vets 3 make the long journey to Westmanstown.

Next Saturday sees Division 1 in action in the IBA Cup at home to Pickie from Northern Ireland . As a result the league games for both Division 1 and 2 will be played on Tuesday next against Aer Lingus(a) and Skerries(h) respectively. The ladies Saturday team are at home to Westmanstown at 11.00am.
