THE Wicklow Camogie Junior team is shaping up well for its All-Ireland campaign, with a replay due in the Leinster Championship (see match report).

In the past week, the panel was presented with a set of jerseys by Cathy Corrigan of Naas Oil.

On Saturday, the Camogie Poc Fada was run alongside the Wicklow GAA Poc Fada on the Great Sugar Loaf, with the competition open to adult and U-16s.

Sara Davis, Bray Emmets, came away with the honours at the U-16 level, with Frances Kearns, Kilcoole, taking the plaudits in the adult competition.

Both Frances and Sara go on to represent Wicklow in the Leinster Poc Fada final on Saturday, June 24 in Beann Eadair GAA Club, Howth, Co. Dublin.
