Donard shearing results

THERE was a great turnout at the launch of the competitiv­e sheep shearing season in Donard recently when Donard Shears welcomed competitor­s from New Zealand, Norway, Australia, Wales and Ireland.

Shearing took place on the farm of Charles and Martin Fenton, located at Kelshe, Donard and 900 hoggets were provided by Charles Fenton, Mark Fenton, and John and Gareth Corrigan. A parish event, all monies raised go towards the Donard/Davidstown Parish.
