NOW IN ITS fifth year, the hugely successful festival returns to the Abbey grounds in Wicklow town from midday to 7 p.m. on Sunday, June 25.

Michelin-starred Derry Clarke, Paul Kelly from the Merrion Hotel and Rory Morahan, the Druid Chef, are among the top line-up of talented chefs who will be sharing their knowledge and cooking up a storm on the day during the cookery demonstrat­ion.

The Garden County has also earned a reputation as a top producer of quality, artisan food products and a broad range of local producers will be on hand to showcase their range of delicious goods to make the mouth water.

With craft stalls, music and children’s entertainm­ent, Taste of Wicklow will yet again be a family-friendly festival with plenty to catch the attention of all ages.

The one-day festival is organised by Wicklow Town and District Chamber of Commerce and is sponsored by Gallagher’s SuperValu in Wicklow town.

Dianna Sheridan, president of Wicklow Chamber, is urging everyone in Wicklow town and beyond to come along to Taste of Wicklow to enjoy the best of local produce, browse the many stalls and support local businesses showcasing their goods.

Tickets, at €5, bought in advance, will see the tickethold­er entered into a draw for great prizes and will give admittance on the day.
