‘Prosperity Challenge’ workshop in Newtown

-

A ‘Prosperity Challenge’ workshop will take place in north Wicklow tomorrow evening (Thursday, June 29).

Professional women (and men) are being invited to join workshop facilitator Steven Wilkinson to discover ‘Why your strategy is (probably) wrong) from 7 p.m. to 9.30 p.m. in Fishers of Newtownmountkennedy. Although hosted by Network Ireland, the workshop is open to both sexes and booking is advisable. Tickets are free for Network Ireland members and €30 for guests.

Rebecca Harrison from Fishers, who is the 2017 President of Network Ireland, said she was delighted to welcome ‘serial entrepreneur’ Steven Wilkinson to share his experience.

‘Steven is an investment specialist, writer and founder of Good & Prosper – Strategies for Prosperity, a fledgling online education platform that supports, mentors and encourages people committed to their own entrepreneurial journey,’ she said. ‘Wicklow men and women interested should come along and listen to the advice Steven is giving on how we should be thinking as business people and what tools can help us craft and implement our own personal strategy for prosperity.’

Mr Wilkinson argues that conventional business thinking, based on the premise of scarcity, is in direct contravention of the way nature organises and promotes growth and that, as a result, establishing and growing a prosperous enterprise – whatever the size – is often made far more difficult than it need be, simply by the way we think and organise ourselves.

Network Ireland Wicklow Branch President, Louisa Meehan of Woodview HRM said that, as a self-employed person, she is really interested to hear what Mr Wilkinson has to say.

‘It will be great to get a different perspective on how to approach Business Strategy. Steven will be using examples from his extensive investment and mentoring career, while demonstrating that an understanding of the natural laws of abundance coupled with a mindset of “enlightened altruism” can lead to extraordinary results.’
