SPORTS DAY
Hollywood’s 48th annual Sports day will take place on July 9. Athletics Events will commence with Hurling/Football Matches at midday. All other events such as dog show, wheel of fortune, many side shows, home produce, white elephant stall, raffle will commence at 2 p.m.
All Volunteers please be at their work Station latest 1.30 p.m. Thank you. Raffle Cards must be returned on or before ninth. (Parents check School Bags)
HOLLYWOOD FAIR
The Hollywood Fair dates are August 17 to August 20. The launch of 2017 Hollywood Fair takes place prior to the Pre 50s Fashion Show on Saturday, July 22, at 7.30 p.m. The programme of events for our forthcoming fair will be available at the Fashion Show.
There are four Themes within the show. Vintage; Day at the Races; Evening Wear; Oriental, Special Children’s Theme. Local Entertainment during Interval will be provided on the night by the No Name Club and the Laura Greaves School of music. Refreshments served. This is a night not to be missed. More details nearer the date.
Work nights in preparation for the fair have commenced, all help needed, many hands make light work. Always good fun and finished off with a cuppa and goodies, and of course a decade of the Rosary.
FRIENDSHIP CLUB
The Friendship Club are on holidays from now till second Wednesday in September. To all our loyal members of the Friendship Club enjoy your holidays and we will see you all on Wednesday, July 12, for our summer Outing. Visiting Kilmacurragh Gardens/ Redcross Brewery and back to Hollywood Inn for evening Meal. Invitations with all the necessary details are being sent out this week. Important to reply as we need to know numbers for the Bus and Booking Food.
ACORNS PRE-SCHOOL

HOLLYWOOD BOWLS
The club bowl every Tuesday and Friday nights in the Hollywood Centre between 8.10 p.m. New Members’ are always welcome, so come along and see what it is all about, it is a great way to spend the winter nights.
ADULT BADMINTON
Adult Badminton takes place on Wednesday nights in the Hollywood Centre at 8 p.m. New members always welcome.
SCOUT GROUP
Dunlavin Scout Group are currently recruiting new committed leaders for our troop from all local townlands. We are a volunteer based organisation, working with children. Full training is provided. If you think you would be interested in volunteering, please call 086 2632859 for more information.
HOLLYWOOD GAA
Hollywood GAA lotto results for Thursday, June 22. There was no winner of the jackpot. Numbers drawn were 2, 4, 9 and 10.
