GLEN TO GLEN WALK Glenmalure Lodge car park 9 a.m.

Take in breathtaki­ng views of the beautiful Wicklow Mountains will helping out the Wicklow Hospice Foundation furing the annual Glen to Glen Walk, which begins in Glendaloug­h. Walkers will meet at Glenmalure car park before getting a bus to Glendaloug­h for a 10 a.m. start for the walk. MIGHTY WINGS FOOD FEST Bray Seafront From 10 a.m.

The mightiest, hottest, finger-lickin’ chicken wings on the east coast return at this two-day food festival in Bray.

FOUR-MILE ROAD AND RELAY RDA Hall, Rathdrum 11.30 a.m.

Parnell Athletics Club is hosting its annual four-mile road and relay race. There will be prizes for the first, second and third male and female home as well as the first home in the junior and age categories. Athletes can register online at www.parnellac.com or at the RDA Hall on the day. The cost of entry is €20 online or €25 on the day for individual­s or €60 for a team of four running the relay (each member running one mile).

SUMMER FAIR IN BRITTAS BAY Opposite Brittas Bay church 1.30 p.m.

The action-packed-annual BBK summer fair is a fun day out for all the family with a dog show, tug of war, live music and lots more. All the proceeds raised will go toward the BBK parish fund. While gates open to the public at 1.30 p.m., registrati­on for gymkhana will begin at 11.30a.m. Admission: €4 for adults and children are free.

SUMMER FESTIVAL OF OPERA Killrudder­y House 3.30 p.m.

Friends of the Vocal Arts return to Killrudder­y House for their annual fundraiser for the Veronica Dunne Internatio­nal Singing Competitio­n, which takes place in the Orangery. Performing will be Imelda Drumm (mezzo-soprano), Lorna Breen (soprano), Leah Redmond (soprano), Ioana Pipelea (soprano), Lauren Scully (soprano), James McGreanor (tenor), Richard Shaffrey (tenor), Rob McAllister (bass baritone) and Dearbhla Collins (piano).
