VARIETY CONCERT
St Laurence O’Toole’s Church 7.30 p.m. A feast of talent will fill this beautiful venue as part of this year’s Roundwood Festival. Performers include Joe McKenna and Friends, Grainne Medltcott, Ciara and Bryony Conalty, and Classic Harmony from Ashford. The local historical society will also present a brief history of the church as it approaches its 150 year anniversary and there will be post-concert refreshments in Roundwood Parish Hall. Tickets cost €10 (accompanied chilren go free) and are available at Terry Kavanagh’s Butchers, the post office and the parish office in the hall.
MARITIME QUEEN SELECTION
Arklow Sailing Club 8 p.m. The lady who will reign over this year’s Arklow Maritime Festival will receive her crown at the selection night. Guests are welcome to come along and cheer their favourites as they vie to get their hands on the much-sought-after sash.
MUSIC IN CALARY CONCERT
Calary Church 8 p.m. The summer series of concerts at Calary Church continue with the Duo Chagall and Lance Coburn. Duo Chagall is the celebrated partnership of Arun Rao on cello and Gillian Williams on violin while Lance Coburn will delight on the piano.
