Johnstown-Coolgreany Macra club are Hosting a New Member/ Pool night on this Thursday, August 10, in Toss Byrnes Inch at 8.30 p.m. Everyone welcome.

GYMKHANA

The annual Gymkhana and field day will be held on Sunday, August 27, in Coolgreany village. We are looking for volunteers to help with various aspects of the show. If anyone would like to join our committee please contact Declan Finn at 086 2437343.

BIRTHDAYS

Congratulations and good wishes to Daniel Seán Kennedy, Askinch, who celebrates his fourth birthday on Tuesday, August 8, hope you enjoy your day. Congratulations also to twins Cathy Carton and Joan Deegan, who enjoyed their birthdays on August 7.

TIDY TOWNS

The Tidy Towns Committee are putting in a huge effort to get the village into the best possible way for the upcoming adjudication in the Tidy Towns competition.

The committee are seeking a big effort from everyone in their efforts to give the village a huge lift for the adjudication of the Keep Wexford Beautiful Competition which will be adjudicated over the month of July.

If you have an hour to spare please come out and give this hardworking group a hand in their approach to making a big impression on the adjudicators for this competition also.

CHRISTENINGS

Congratulations to Damian and Sue Kelly on the christening of Charley Rose and Georgia Kelly last Saturday. Family and friends enjoyed a lovely party in the Coolgreany Inn afterwards.
