EPIC ENCOUNTER!

difficulty.

Should Leighton Glynn play inside then you can expect the likes of Luke Maloney to be sewn to the dual star’s hip.

Bray on the other hand will trust their defence and will look to their stars up front to do the damage and there’s no reason to doubt that they will deliver. Christy Moorehouse, Mikey Lee, Tom Cash, Padraig Doyle and the rest have delivered at every level for Bray Emmets and unless Glenealy can close off the space and tighten things up then we could see a serious threat level to Keith Snell’s goal.

The role of Jonathan O’Neill Snr is vital as well. Expect ‘Bosco’ to sit just back from midfield in front of the center-half back. From here, he will use his vast experience to supply the likes of Alan Driver, Leighton Glynn and his very talented son, Jonathan O’Neill Jnr.

Emmet Byrne’s role will be to work his Glenealy socks off and try and thwart the efforts of the talented Diarmuid Masterson, Marc Lennon or Luke Maloney.

A lot will hinge on the performance of the Glenealy defence. The excellent Warren Kavanagh will not be found wanting. His lieutenants, Lee Kavanagh and Tommy Doyle will attempt to protect their goal and repel all invaders.

The experienced Garry Byrne will be hugely important to Glenealy’s cause as they bid to stop the Bray Emmets train from rolling on to a four-ina-row.

Tommy Carroll’s men emerged from a dogged and frenetic battle against St Pat’s in a game where their very hurling lives were on the line. They survived and it will only benefit them.

Glenealy had a long lay off ahead of their semi-final clash with Éire Óg but came through that with a deserving win.

A fantastic battle lies ahead.
