Standing ovation for Inbhear Mór performance in Holland Information for businesses
INBHEAR MÓR Performace Ensemble have returned home from Holland after representing Ireland at the 2017 European Championships.
This was the group’s first ever competitive performance in the Premier Class of Europe and they did not disappoint. They brought the full stadium to their feet and received a standing ovation for their renditions of different music.
The show also earned the band a score of 52 – their highest score of the season.
The musical ensemble qualified for the event last January and the tour was a culmination of nine months of preparation from the Arklow group.
Depsite some challenging weather conditions at the championships, the band put on a fantastic show in Kerkrade. It featured music from Mozart, The Turtles, Hermann’s ‘Psycho’, ‘Bring Him Home’ from Les Miserables and Percy Sledges ‘When a Man Loves a Woman’.
The band are now recruiting new members for their cadet band, seven to 12 years, and senior band, 13 years and upwards, as they now start preparations for the 2018 season.
