Andy McEvoy Premier 1

Roundwood picked up three points on Sunday thanks to a 4-1 win over Park Orient FC in the Andy McEvoy Premier Division.

Glenn Hughes, Patrick Woods, David Kavanagh and Keane Murphy got the goals for the winners.

Rathnew AFC also came away with a victory as Danny Quinn and Antonio Alonso got on the scoresheet in their 2-0 win over Dynamo Dublin.

Elsewhere Carnew AFC chalked up an impressive 4-1 win over Newtown United (see focus match).

Pat O’Toole Division 1B

Wicklow Town proved much too good for Old Court Celtic, running out facile 12-0 winners in a one-sided Pat O’Toole Division 1B match.

Jack Geraghty helped himself to four goals, Adrian Viral added a hat-trick and Mark Farrago bagged a double, while Jack Kelly, Shane Devlin and Reece Kelly got a goal apiece.

Goals from Eugene Dune and Paul McGann saw St Patrick’s overcome Rathnew 2-0, while Ashford Rovers and Greystones United came away with a point apiece after a 2-2 draw.

Conor McGowan fired Ashford in front, and after Anthony Fermoyle levelled it for Greystones an Aidan O’Callaghan penalty restored Rovers’ advantage before the break.

Shane McCormack equalised early in the second-half, and although both sides had chances to win it, neither could add to their tally with the goalkeepers making crucial saves.

Glencormac United lost out 4-3 at home to Bohemians S.C.. The Glens were 2-0 up at half-time through Paul Devlin and Nathan Watters and played some lovely football, but a crazy spell midway through the second-half saw them concede four goals in 12 minutes.

Sam O’Callaghan’s scored a late cracker for Glencormac but they couldn’t force an equaliser.

Elsewhere Knockmitten United edged out Templeogue United 3-2.
