HEALTH PROMOTING SCHOOLS

Coláiste Chraobh Abhann was awarded the Health Promoting Schools’ Flag on the day of our annual sponsored 10k walk on Wednesday, October 4. The Health Promoting Schools (HPS) Team is a community of students, teachers and parents that strives to improve the mental and physical health of the whole school community.

Caroline Mahon, Health Promoting Officer from Blackrock Education Centre presented the flag to the team at a celebration ceremony in the school last Wednesday. She stated that we are the first school in Wicklow to be awarded the flag and commended the great work being done in the school in the area of wellbeing.

Miss Egan, who is led this great initiative, wishes to thank the team for their continued efforts in making our school a happy and healthy place for all.

CCA 10K WALK

The cast for this year’s musical High School Musical has been announced. Congratulations to everyone who was offered a part. The standard was very high this year and the musical team wish to thank everyone who auditioned. We look forward with anticipation to this great event. Now the hard work begins.

DRAMA AUDITIONS

Auditions for both the junior and senior drama productions will take place this week in the Viewing Gallery. If you are interested in auditioning for the junior production, please speak to Miss Ní Chleirigh. If you are auditioning for the senior drama production, please see Ms Hennessy or Mr Ó Súilleabháin.
