RNLI launches its 2018 calendar

- BY DEBORAH COLEMAN

ARKLOW RNLI was proud to launch its 2018 calendar on Friday.

This year’s Maritime Queen Cinty Nolan did the honours and the calendar was officially unveiled to the public during a fundraising quiz night.

The latest calendar features an array of maritime scenes, some of which were captured by the talented members of the Tommy Byrne Photographic Society.

Full details of the award winners, including overall prize winner John O’Brien are also included, along with images from the presentation night.

The calendar is a must for those who like to keep up to date with RNLI events throughout the year, such as Hurry to the Curry and the Maritime Festival as they are already pencilled in to remind supporters.

The RNLI wishes to thank the sponsors who made publication of the calendar possible, including Blueprint for the design and printing services.

Calendars and Christmas cards are on sale now in the following outlets: Kavanagh’s, Wexford Road, Beat That Records, Kustom Kidz, Asgard Nursing Home, Power’s, Main Street, Arklow Maritime Museum, Myles Doyles, Lower Main Street, Ashgrove Motor Factors, Quinn’s Ferrybank, Arklow Bay Leisure Centre and Mobile Care and Computer Solutions.

Calendars are also on sale at Andy Brennan’s, Castlepark, Paul Doyle’s and Burke’s Lower Main Street. The calendars cost €5 and the cards are individually priced.
