-

NOT content with creating delicious products, Lainey’s Handmade Foods has given its graband-go bars a tasty makeover.

The Kilquade company yesterday (Tuesday, November 6) revealed the new packaging for its popular bar range, which includes a dark chocolate biscuit cake bar, a milk chocolate biscuit cake bar and a carrot cake flapjack.

Rich, dark and intense, the dark chocolate biscuit cake bar is not only available as an on the go treat but also comes in a range of gift boxes and a Christmas cake. The milk chocolate biscuit cake bar is a deliciously smooth alternative for milk chocolate lovers while their carrot cake flapjack is a unique wholesome combination of the classic flapjack with all the flavours of a traditional carrot cake.

Since establishing the business in late 2013, Léonie Ferguson has used her background in catering and baking to bring her business from a home-based, local operation to an Irish brand name that is stocked in over 100 stores across Leinster.

Her mission is to provide the market with products that are a celebration of traditional family favourites and present them in a modern way, yet still ensuring they taste like home.

After initially building the business around her award-winning dark chocolate biscuit cake, Léonie has expanded her grab-and-go bar range to include a milk chocolate biscuit cake bar and a carrot cake flapjack.

Lainey’s Handmade Food products are available in select SuperValu, Spar, Mace, Londis and independent stores across Ireland, as well as local cafés and coffee shops.
