MENS SHED

Our activities continue every Tuesday at Knockraheen from 10 a.m. onwards. If you haven’t already done so please come along. You will be assured of a warm welcome.

Our fishing expedition to Annamoe was a great success. Our host Brian Nally taught us the skills of casting the line and the fly. He was a great teacher but he was dealing with slow learners. One of us managed to cast the line in such a way that the hook ended up in a hat on a head.

We are making nesting boxes for the birds even though an expert in Annamoe, who supplies the wood is of the opinion that the birds are well able to make their own nests. He is of the opinion that the birds will become lazy if we make them homes and obese if we supply them with food. Be that as it may, let us know if you want a nesting box.
