Wicklow Male Voice Choir Sligo-bound this weekend

THE Wicklow Male Voice Choir travel to Sligo this weekend t compete in the annual international choral festival.

The choir has entered into two competitions this year, one in the open choir section and the other in the male voice section.

The choir is also preparing for their annual Christmas concert which takes place this year in the Grand Hotel on Sunday, October 10. The choir will be joined by soprano Sandra Oman and it promises to be a wonderful night of music.

This will be the first concert under the baton of new Musical Director, Tony Norton, and the choir are in the final stages of rehearsal in preparation for the big night.

Tickets for the concert are now available from any choir member or from Earls Newsagents priced €15 each.
