Lake views caught on camera

- BY MYLES BUCHANAN

BLESSINGTON Lake Views Facebook group exhibited some of their marvellous photographs at an exhibition held in the Anon Ri Lakeshore Resort.

The group was established four years ago and encouraged members to take photographs of the lake at Blessington or of surrounding locations, to help promote the beauty of the area. The group has now grown to over 2,000 members.

The exhibition was well attended and featured both amateur and professional photographers. Paula O’Sullivan offered advice on how to set up the exhibition, which featured photographs from Martin Blake, Michael Anderton, Brian Cribbin, Turlough Kinnane, Kim Kamberos, Marthaa Ul, Anita Moroney , Nikki Farrington, Kiara Ryall and Stephen Nolan.

‘We had a great attendance and it was a fantastic night. We have many members from all over the world and many of those have talked about how the photos and videos are a lovely reminder of home. We may even make it an annual event,’ said Sally Ann Ryall.
