FOOTBALL CLUB NOTES

We lost another of our 1972 winning team with the sudden death of Dick Walsh. Dick was a steady smart corner back on the team. We would like to sympathize with his wife and family and the rest of the Walsh family on his sudden death.

Once again the Wilson Buttle Cup Final did not take place. let’s hope common sence will take over and it will be played in the Spring when teams are looking for games.

The lotto jackpot is now €4,800. Last week Ollie and Eileen O’Neill, Mervyn O’Neill, Peter Byrne, Charlie Walsh and Jacko Toomey matched three and won €40 each.
